Whitecaps agree transfer of Canadian Alphonso Davies to Bayern Munich

The Vancouver Whitecaps have officially agreed to transfer teenage sensation Alphonso Davies to storied European club Bayern Munich.

The transfer is an MLS record-high that could total in excess of $22 million for the 17-year-old.

Davies is expected to complete the remainder of the 2018 MLS season with the Whitecaps, before becoming eligible to play for Bayern Munich when the international transfer window reopens in January 2019.
