Brazilian legend Ze Roberto has finally hung up his boots for good.

The 43-year-old was a popular figure in the Noughties, winning the Bundesliga four times with Bayern Munich between 2002 and 2009.

The Brazilian also played 84 times for his country between 1992 and 2006, and was part of the squad in the 1998 and 2006 World Cups.

He has made a remarkable 846 appearances for eight different clubs in his career, which saw him also lift the Champions League and La Liga for Real Madrid in two seasons at the club between 1996 and 1998.

But it seems age has finally caught up on the midfielder, who turned 43 in July this year.

Enjoy your retirement, Ze!
